Mutton Curry
Serves 2
Ingredients
- Mutton 1 kg
- Cinnamon, cloves
- Onions - long sliced
- Tomatoes - Chopped
- Green chilies - long sliced
- Coriander leaves chopped
- Ginger Garlic paste
- Coriander powder
- Garam Masala
- Mutton masala powder
- Red Chilly powder
- Grated coconut
- Turmeric, Salt
- Oil
Preparation

Wash the Mutton, add to a pressure cooker. Add salt, turmeric, and water and pressure cook for 10-20 whistles based on the tenderness of mutton.
- In a Kadai, add oil, green chilies, onions, tomatoes, and fry. Add salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, and fry well.
- Add the cooked mutton pieces. Keep the mutton stock(water from the pressure cooker) aside for later use.
- Add coriander powder, garam masala, Mutton masala powder, Red Chilly powder and mix well.
- Add all of the mutton stock and keep cooking till the stock evaporates and thickens up. You can add extra water according to consistency.
- In a mixer, grind a half hand full of grated coconut and add it to the curry. Let it keep cooking till the required consistency is achieved.
- Once cooked, garnish with coriander and close the lid. Serve after 10 minutes.
